Good, engaging, thrilling, but short of great and perhaps a wee bit repeated.

It was certainly a nice show. Good to watch, very different from what I’ve had heard so far about it being not a good show. In fact, the first half of the show kept me guessing on who/what could run such an intriguing network and powerful enough to process so much data. And most of the events, that led from one to another, seemed almost incoherent. Didn’t seemed to really drive to one final destination. Further, it seemed haphazard to place Jerry Shaw (Shia LaBeouf) and Rachel Holloman (Michelle Monaghan) together. But once the mystery was revealed, it was a wee bit too bland.
In fact, it felt like Enemy of the State mixed up with Terminator and Matrix, and a slight bit of Die Hard, with a heavy over-dosed of Transformer (since I continuously watched Shia LaBeouf running away). Perhaps the worst decision of the show, would be to start a romantic side story between the two characters; albeit at the end of the show.
Overall, a balanced 5.0/10.0 from me, good action but everything seemed repeated.
