Think we’ve gotten too much Hong Kong triad flick. It was dull.

Flash Point - 導火綫

Seriously, after watching the show, I still am having a hard time trying to summarise the theme of the show. Was it a triad revenge, or was it something about the undercover? Or was it about the girlfriend? Family? Heck, I really don’t know.

But one thing for sure, Donnie Yea sure is one hell of a fighter – albeit, getting dull. I honestly was blown away by SPL back then, but think it’s seriously getting very dull. The whole show purpose seemed was to allow Donnie Yea to showcase his fighting prowess, nothing else. Though the fights were impressive, maybe the genre is just getting dull.

If you’re looking for some brute fight, as compare to the more stylish fight in Forbidden Kingdom, this one is great. To sum it up, a weak 5.5/10.0 from me.
