Journalism? That’s what journalism should be!
A tale of journalism where what started as a back street murder, slowly built up to become one big conspiracy involving far too many parties of power that lies and deceit mingled indiscriminately with blind love and loyalty and friendship. It was a perfect recipe for a tragedy, a big tragedy; or rather, a perfect recipe for a thrilling screen play.
The whole show started slow; however it was nicely built upon layer and layer that seemed almost insignificant only in turn to let you look back at yourself and said “aaaah….”. In fact, at the end of the show, it turned out totally different from what I had expected. Considering I had been so Hollywood-ized by most shows where the bad guy was always the bad guy; the twist was really good.
Apart from the brilliant twist, the glimpse on how journalism should really work (note that I say should for I believe this depicting is a lot more dramatized) definitely made an impression on me. It’s really another rat race in a different world, but nonetheless a race as ratty as others. The conflict between that of professionalism and friendship was nicely done as well in the show. I believe if I were in that position, I’d have done the same.
The performances from by Russell Crowe (Reporter Cal McAffrey) and Ben Affleck (as Congressman Stephen Collins) were very good that I believe it was what that really carried the show to a better notch.
From me, a good 8.0/10.0 earnestly earned.

Seriously, for Naruto, I am really not sure where the story would be going. It seems to be hinting that Sasuke might be turning into a tail beast himself; however, with Madara coming up to the open right now instead of continuing to pull strings behind the scenes, might it be that Madara wishes to propose a world domination plan to the 5 kages? What of Naruto then? This chapters open up many possibilities. [Download Naruto 466]
Can Bleach be any more boring than how it have been for all these while? I think it will. The fights are still as draggy and without much surprises. [Download Bleach 376]
One Piece continues to impress me further! It continues very like the author style to have a big messed up situation before settling on individual fight, however, this time round, it just gotten bigger and bigger. It seemed like all the super power finally gathering and giving it a super run for the money. Not really sure how Luffy will survive or even come up on top of this considering the only possible new skill that he should already be mastering, haki, ain’t really caught up with him yet. Then again, every single big guy out there right now at the Marine HQ are obviously fighting with Haki of their own. It’s going to be very interesting I bet. [Download One Piece 559]
It seems we’re finally getting a glimpse of what exactly a ‘sacrifice’ is about. But I think getting one chapter per month kind of taking a toll on the momentum. [Download FMA 99]

Is this your everyday Disney styled summer movie for kids?
At first glance, especially of the trailer, it should promisingly be funny. But it wasn’t and isn’t. It was rather bland, story line retold without any surprises. Though it did manage to steal a few laughs from the audiences in a half filled cinema hall, it wasn’t even really entertaining. It felt like a drag to just sit through the motion.
And when you exit the hall with a mum carrying a sleeping child (of 5/6 years old), you should know the show had failed, _disastrously_.
2.0/10.0, nuff said.

Funny, interesting, very sensual.
What’s the different between a guy and a girl? The poster above sum things up?
Generally, there ain’t much to talk about such a show where the poster kindda summed it up. And the poster did quite really do the job well. The gist of it however, lies in the process of getting to that happily ever after ending. Which, unsurprisingly, it did.
But I had a wake up call from my friend who said, this ending however would never have happened. Abby Richter (Katherine Heigl) would have continued to fake it for the checklist. Whilst I too lean a bit more to that argument, I believe Abby being a successful woman itself may have contributed to the happily ever after decision.
Anyway, the whole show could be summarised as pretty flat as well. It was only carried through through the wonderful dialogues, else I believe it did not able to hold itself. A neutral 5.0/10.0.

A big show! Simply a great MASTERPIECE!
5 chapters, each and everyone of them were like a short stories by itself. It and everyone of them caught my attention thoroughly. Each and everyone of them were in full glory. It was a loud, gory, sensational, and most of all, bastardised show! It was definitely a modern masterpiece.
I can’t really summarise this show unless I do it no justice. But it was definitely one of the best watch I’ve had throughout this year. The jokes were very subtle and deep but not trashy. The suspense were so thrilling that I almost felt my heart stop at those moments. Stress level were so high on certain scenes, yet some scenes were so darn chaotic that when I believed I might be at the edge of break down, it ended with a loud bang that was both creepy and, unbelievably funny. Pragmatic may perhaps be said for some of the scenes.
This show however, reminds me of the bastards that everyone had to deal with. Some more than the others, but no matter, bastards. To sum it up, simply brilliant! Masterpiece! Masterpiece! 8.0/10.0!
