The 2nd part of the series for Dave & Mei Lian - their Dinner Reception at Oversea Restaurant at Jaya One.
A fun affair with all their friends and colleagues. By the time the dinner’s over, my hands are all full capturing the group photos for them all. A jolly bunch in a joyous occasion!
Thanks Dave & Mei Lian - for a chance to be a part of this joyous occasion!
And here they are, the selected 35 frames!

I’d the honor of shooting the big day of Dave & MeiLian. Once again, thanks for the opportunity. I’m indeed proud to be associated with your big day.
The day started early, with a bit of cloud and raindrops on the Saturday morning of 15th November 2008.
My first stop, the groom’s house - Dave’s house.
They were still asleep at 8am. Must be the bachelor & hen’s night the day before.
Nevertheless, managed to catch some of them - still in their dreams.
The bride, MeiLian is waiting at the Eastin Hotel. I followed the groom’s car to pick up his new wifey.
Here are the shots of the obstacles that he had to wade thru wifey’s sister with the help of his valiant brothers!
The full morning session, the selected 36 frames amongst them all!

Celebrated Grandma’s 81st Birthday Bash - albeit on a smaller scale, but definitely fill up to the brink with warmth.

The World Heritage List includes 878 properties forming part of the cultural and natural heritage which the World Heritage Committee considers as having outstanding universal value.
Malacca was recently listed on the World Heritage List, together with George Town as teh Historic Cities of the Straits of Malacca.
I usually visit Malacca at least once a year since I started working. It’s near, cheap and convenient place for a visit. There’s a lot to see (though after so many times, it’s kind of bored already…), a lot to eat and I’ve many friends who stayed there.
Since the announcement of the Heritage List, it’s the first time I stepped inside Malacca. And, oh boy, the numbers of tourist had flourished! We see more tourist in the heritage sites, more cars and I wonder if there are more hotels mushrooming up. Nevertheless, it’s sure is a proud thing for Malacca to be listed. And now, comes the hardest part - preserving the heritage sites.
